Code 15: Passenger Vehicle Traction Law
This law will be in effect for the majority of winter weather. Under Code 15, all passenger vehicles must have one of the following:
Code 16: Passenger Vehicle Chain Law
During the worst winter storms, Code 16 will take effect. This law requires all passenger vehicles to have traction devices such as chains or Auto Socks.
